New York State United Teacher Retirees Of Western New York’s Board of Trustees visited Schoolhouse #8, in North Collins.
Schoolhouse #8 History Center & Museum is an authentic one room schoolhouse, constructed around 1857,which was restored to circa 1900 condition.
It is populated with period appropriate furniture, artifacts, books, school records and other memorabilia as found in one room schoolhouses in the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
