The 2024 Fall Retired Teachers' Luncheon to honor new retirees was on September 10^th  at the Columns Banquet Hall. 

The  NYSUT Regional Conference for Retiree Councils 1,2,3, and 44  was on May 21st at the Buffalo Marriott Niagara.

The 2024  NYSUT Retirees of WNY Legends Award winner is Sara Rodland. Sara is a Buffalo Public Schools Retiree. In retirement Sara continues her union involvement.

WNY NYSUT Retirees were represented at the 2024 RA in New York City. 

Buffalo's RC 44 received 2 Community Service Awards at the 2024 NYSUT RA.

Do you know that the state of Florida is NYSUT Retiree Council 43?  As NYSUT members you are invited to visit their units and attend any of their activities.

FIXING TIER 6 IS ABOUT SOLIDARITY AND FAIRNESS. It’s unfair that some NYSUT members must work longer, and contribute more, to earn a significantly reduced pension. This should anger ALL union members.
