WNY NYSUT celebrated NYSUT Retiree Recognition Day by Making a Difference.  They wrote postcards & made phone calls in support of political candidates while enjoying cake & treats.

Amish trip

On October 2, 2024, our WNYRC Program Committee hosted an  "Amish Brown Bag Tour".  Twenty-nine participants traveled by coach bus through Cherry Creek, NY and Leon, NY to experience Amish quilting, a cheese sho, a nursery/vegetable market, and an Amish bakery.

Lockwood’s 4

On Thursday, June 20, Lockwood's Garden Center sponsored a design your own Summer mixed patio planter.  The 11 participants were able to create their own unique summer arrangements.

Bus trip

On Wednesday, June 5, 2024 our group of 39 guests went on a coach bus tour of the Seneca Wine Trail.

A memorable time was had by all at the 2023 Mingle & Jingle Holiday Party. Feedmore & The Coalition's Mini Grant Program were this year's Charities.

Speaker Series

Fall Speaker Series!

 On Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the NYSUT office in Williamsville, award winning Certified Life Mastery Coach and Dreambuilder Coach, Robert Ciminelli, spoke to an audience of Retirees & friends. Rob discussed people's biggest life concerns and struggles, finding purpose. He gave strategies for creating the life you love.  We all have untapped potential.

New York State United Teacher Retirees Of Western New York’s Board of Trustees visited Schoolhouse #8, in North Collins.

On June 15th, 44 members & friends visited the Women's Rights National Park in Seneca Falls.  They lunched at the Sherwood Inn in Skaneateles. They also cruised on Skaneateles Lake and enjoyed the historic scenery on the shores of the lake.  There was also time to check out the shops.
