Join other WNY NYSUT Retirees for a delicious luncheon at Salvatore’s beautifully decorated holiday banquet facility!

We are excited to offer K–12 teachers the opportunity to apply for a mini-grant of up to $500 to bring a unique idea, project, or learning experience to their students.

This grant is designed to support creative projects that fall outside the school’s regular funding—ideas that inspire curiosity, encourage hands-on learning, solve a problem, or provide students with an experience they might not otherwise have.

Have an idea that your school couldn’t fund? We want to hear about it!

WYNRC awards grants to WNY NYSUT members for class projects. The cost of individual projects isn’t to exceed $500. 

NYSUT RETIREES FALL LUNCHEON AT THE COLUMNS 

HONORING NEW RETIREES

WYNRC welcomed new Retirees and recognized members who received  awards this past year.  Deputy Erie County Executive Lisa M. Chimera issued a Proclamation declaring October 19, 2026 as NYSUT Retiree Recognition Day in Erie County.  Funds from the Share the Wealth & Basket raffles benefit the Coalition's Mini Grant Program for inservice teachers.
